ROTHERHAM United winger David Worrall has today become Phil Brown’s latest addition as he looks to build his Southend squad for League Two next season.
The former Bury and West Bromwich Albion winger, 24, joins on a two-year contract having negotiated his release from the Millers, where his contract had a year left to run.
Worrall is Southend’s fourth signing of the summer following the capture of Lee Barnard, Myles Weston and Ellis Brown. He suffered with injuries last season and managed just handful of games for Steve Evans’ side, but impressed while on loan to Oldham.
Rumours on the MillersMAD message board suggest he fell out with Evans last season, which suggests if nothing else he has his head screwed on.
