All At Sea is the only fanzine dedicated to Southend United. Founded in 2004 by Andrew Roach, Jamie (Jai) Forsyth and James Falkingham, the fanzine aims to marry in-depth analysis of all aspects surrounding SUFC with irreverence and humour where it can. We are 100% unofficial and are proud to be so. Currently, the editorial team consists of James and Jai, with Ed Beavan an editor in exile.
All At Sea celebrates its tenth birthday and its 50th issue this August, meaning it is the longest-serving Southend fanzine of all time. It takes influences from classic fanzines of Brian Moore’s Head, Crooked Spireite and Leyton Orientear, but is not afraid to embrace modern technology and has put its name to a successful podcast in the past. We are looking at introducing an e-book format in 2014/15.
Each edition is between 28 and 40 A5 pages, black and white with the exception of a colour front and back cover. From its inception in 2004 until the present, and hopefully for the foreseeable future, all issues have been priced at just £1.
